Welcome to the exercise thread as we mark the unofficial start of summer.

Let’s continue to encourage each other to exercise and encourage each other in our daily lives if we can’t exercise right now.

So, let us know if you are walking, swimming, biking, doing yardwork, cleaning, shopping etc.

Or just tell us about your day.

Have a super week! [hi]

I watered the flowers outside that are annuals.

The valence on one of my wooden blinds fell off. The plastic clasps all broke. If I can’t find ones that fit (blinds are over 20 years old), I think I can use Velcro and my tall neighbor to fix it. He took a look at it for me.

Changed the air filters in the small air purifiers in living room and bedroom.

Rode the exercise bike for 35 minutes straight which released a ton of toxins. I need a chiropractic adjustment but I will be lucky to get an appointment Tuesday. This happened last week, too.

Watched a Christian video and then listened to the Sunday sermon from church.

Talked to my mom.

Got my sodium capsules. May try one or two with dinner. Would prefer that to increase my low sodium levels rather than eating processed foods. I have already gained several pounds on my higher sodium diet and don’t like that.

Leftovers for dinner.

I watched the 1951 movie called Angels in the Outfield. Humorous and heartwarming.

Remembering those who sacrificed their lives for our country. 🇺🇸

Quiet day here.

Did my knee, feet and shoulder exercises.

Rode the exercise bike 26 minutes which released more toxins.

Made blueberry muffins.

Took recycling to bins in grocery store parking lot.

Called mom.

I have a chicken breast in the oven for dinner with snap peas and a tossed salad.

Eventually I will drag the garbage bin to the curb.

Had an absolutely lovely weekend! The last of our company left a little after noon today.

Hubby took an afternoon nap and so did I.

Picked strawberries and got almost 2 ice cream buckets full.

Spread another tote of sawdust on the pathway between the strawberry beds.

Need to wash and pack eggs tonight.

The girls helped my sis transplant the last of our plants.

Manna—glad you enjoyed your company.

Got up early and went to a 7:45 chiropractor appointment.

Watered the flowers.

Did my balance exercises. Rode the exercise bike for 15 minutes.

Visited with a friend on her porch. Hadn’t seen her in quite awhile. She has 3 kids under the age of 5 and that keeps her busy. Lovely visit.

Went to look for the clasp for the blind valance and couldn’t find one that matched. Probably end up using Velcro.

Stopped at the library. They had 6 books on hold waiting for me.

Took a nap.

Finished reading a book that I started last week called The Year of Jubilee by Cindy Morgan (she is also Christian singer and song writer). I enjoyed the novel.

Leftovers for dinner tonight.

Got up early. Rode the exercise bike 15 minutes. Did my knee, feet and shoulder exercises.

Took my BFF for her carpal tunnel surgery. We were at the surgicenter for 6 hours as the surgeon was running way behind. But all went well and that is what matters.

And so, it is almost time for dinner. Last night I ate my tossed salad but forgot to eat the leftover chicken breast. So, guess that is what I am having for dinner. Lol

Got up earlier than usual since I was awake and started thinking of all the things I could do....

Washed 2 loads of towels.

Ran 2 loads through the dishwasher.

Moved a pile of logs so I could move the chicken fence over to fresh grass.

Planted some more seeds - pumpkin, lima bean, sweet corn.

Picked strawberries - 4 ice cream buckets almost full.

Had strawberry shortcake and ice creamfor dessert this evening.

Watered the newly planted grass this morning. This evening watered the strawberry beds.

Threatened the dog with the water hose when he thought about chasing the kittens. He changed his mind!!

Well, it's Wednesday and I finally found my way over here!

I've been busy but don't remember anything special about Monday. Got to see one of my favorite groups on Sunday with my friend C.

Tuesday I went to exercise and then went to the city with my neighbor. She wanted a companion. We went to Sam's Club.

I think I've walked each day except yesterday. Did plenty of walking while shopping.

Today we had Bible study. Then I went to the store and got a few items we needed. Also found some earrings to wear on our 50th Anniversary celebration on the 11th. Our true anniversary is June 16th.

It's hard to believe we've been married 50 years!! And we dated for 3 years before that. I managed to find our wedding album. I'm going to buy a new album since this one is rather musty smelling. It's been in storage for YEARS.

While looking for the album, I found pics of my classes from 40-50 years ago. Mind blowing.

I read your postings, but won't comment today. Just tired!!

Please keep saying prayers for AK and her precious mom.

Watered the flowers. It thundered and clouded up this afternoon but that was just a tease and no rain.

I went grocery shopping this morning. Took 4 trips to get the groceries from the car to the kitchen and my toxic “heavy feeling” legs really struggled. Think MSG/other additives may be the culprit. So, no more MSG/processed foods for a very long time. Have a splitting headache, too.

A wasp followed me into the house so I managed to track it down before it tracked me down.

I did my balance exercises but struggled with those, too.

Rode the exercise bike for 10 minutes.

Tried to take a nap but couldn’t sleep, so read instead.

Cooked a boneless pork chop for dinner to have with green beans and a tossed salad.

Yes, prayers continue for AK and Mom.

Hiker .. I hope you have now identified the culprit of the heavy legs.

Thanks, Tutu, that is a lot of names to keep track of for MSG when reading labels.

I have never been toxic for so long so I am getting concerned. My usual detox methods are not working.

I did my knee, feet and shoulder exercises today.

My tall neighbor came over and we put the valance back on the blind with Velcro.

I worked outside in the yard but not for long. It is in the 90’s today and I inherited the gene for not sweating much at all, so I overheat easily.

Rode the exercise bike for 15 minutes and am over the 100 minute per week goal.

Talked to my mom. Then wasted time on the phone with Amazon getting a refund on an order that never arrived. They are good about giving the refunds, though.

Leftovers for dinner. The probably watch a movie.

Not nearly as toxic today but my muscles still feel week.

In the 90’s again so I got up early to water the flowers.

Did my balance exercises although I struggled. Wonder if my left ear tube has fallen out.

Cleaned the kitchen. Then changed the shower curtain liner.

Watched a Beth Moore Christian video.

Took a nap this afternoon. Have been reading a bit.

Spaghetti sauce over rice pasta with zucchini and a tossed salad for dinner. I have sprinkling more salt on my food and taking sodium capsules to get the blood sodium up.

Maybe another movie tonight. I have recorded a lot of them mainly from the 1950’s
