Ann-Ohio, sorry to hear that you are more dizzy than usual. Hang in there.
And definitely walking in the grocery store, no matter how small, counts!
Watched my church’s service online today. Then listened to the sermon from the National Cathedral.
Did a load of laundry.
Rode the exercise bike for 32 minutes.
Chatted with a friend and we encouraged each other.
Then called mom.
Took a nap and overslept. I didn’t even go outside today at all. Very windy and the rain passed up by again so the wind is stirring up a lost of dust. I live near the edge of town where some farms are and the crops are not doing well.

Hi everyone and thank you for all the support and condolences in regards to my Mom.
I'm not really exercising but am taking care of my grown nephew who had back surgery a week after my mother's funeral.
He's going to be here a number of weeks recovering.
I'm basically just cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and caring for his dog and a stray outside kitten.
I have to admit I'm very glad for the company though.
Talked with a friend who encouraged me and thought I'd get back on Lymenet.
Grief is horrible but inevitable so I'm just taking one day at a time.
Glad to be back!

So happy you’re back akinwlf ❤️ I missed you. And I miss your Mom. Your daily updates of sharing your life and your Mom’s life created a connection of warmth, compassion and love. Thank You!
I’ve been MIA due to extreme back pain. Don’t know what caused it but it was brutal. Popping pills like crazy, nothing would touch it. Crying 24/7. I’m better today.
I had to cancel Dentist, nuclear scan, pool party and town park concert.
I was able to climb up the pool deck today. Stayed in pool 15 minutes, sitting on a step. Hey, atleast it’s something.
Nothing is a quick fix anymore. Patience is a virtue.

AK— glad to see you back. Just take one day at a time and know we are here to support you!
Bonnie, so sorry about your back and I know it will be a pain to reschedule all those appointments.
Again the rain passed us by. So, I watered the flowers and hostas this morning. Our county is now in severe drought. We produce much of Illinois’ corn and soybeans as well as most of the pumpkins for the United States. That Libby’s canned pumpkin is likely from a plant near me.
Did my knee, feet and shoulder exercises.
Went to the chiropractor again. Feel like I am living there. Doctor released more toxins which really affect my legs. Hope they will leave the body soon.
Rode the exercise bike 26 minutes hoping to get out more toxins.
Called mom and contacted her md about a prescription and getting pre-approval from insurance for her prolia shot.
Called DirectTV who suddenly started sending bills in the mail again after years of being paperless. I don’t like bills coming to the mailbox which is on the street. Too much mail theft these days. Got that straightened out but my phone kept cutting out.
My brother called and we talked a while and my phone kept cutting out again. Reset it but feel like my old iPhone got better reception then this newer version.
Am cooking a chicken breast and then will take the garbage bin to the curb.

Glad to hear your activities. I hear ya on the back pain, BB.
My mid back is killing me. So I went to you tube to see about exercises or whatever. A pool sounds great. We do have one here but I'm not a fan of chlorine.
I managed to walk one mile today! I did 1/2 mile this morning and 1/2 this evening. The weather was nice and later in the week it will hit 100. So I made hay while the sun was shining.
I need to work on my Bible study. Plan to work on it a bit before bed.
AK .. I'm so happy to see you here. Taking care of Josh is good for both of you. I hope it heals your soul a bit.
hiker .. hope you get things straightened out with Direct TV and your mom's insurance.
Our AC went out at church on Sunday, so that was interesting. We had the service in the narthex because the AC was working there.

Thank you guys for all the love and support.
BB hang in there! I had stabbing back pains today so just took the dreaded pain pill and muscle relaxers. Pity they make me feel so unwell because of mast cell issues. I can only take 1\4-1\2 of each.
Hiker hoping your quads feel better! I took my garbage out too!
Tutu Josh and I are helping each other. He's been a tremendous blessing for me!
BTW guys while putting my homeowners insurance on a monthly payment plan the gal in the office said they're always looking for help. It was encouraging but way too soon for me to go back to work.
Other than running errands and taking care of Josh I haven't done too much today.
See you my friends tomorrow!

AK—well, you can keep that insurance job at the back of your mind since you have experience in the field.
Went to the public library this morning to get two books on hold. Got home and there was an email that another book came in. Lol I will get it another day.
Did my balance and shoulder exercises. Rode the exercise bike for 22 minutes. I really need to get out and walk more since my walking muscles were pretty idle all winter.
However, today is the not the day. Very Unhealthy air quality alert from the fires in Canada. It is so hazy that is like a dry fog.
Filled the safflower feeder.
Took another long nap.
Leftover chicken for dinner with tossed salad and steamed yellow squash.
Then went to the grocery store but I will have to go back tomorrow. Produce was all picked over..

We've been having rain showers off and on the past week or so. The worms are eating my cabbages, cauliflower and broccoli. I keep dusting DE on them and it keeps gettng washed off.
Things are growing very nice. We finished picking peas and pulled the plants out. As soon as it dries off enough we want to tiller and plant something else.
Picked the first raspberries yesterday. All from wild plants that we let grow. Got half a cool whip container full.
Have a dress to finish sewing for my cousin. She's coming tomorrow and staying overnight 2 nights. Looking forward to gabbing with her again!
Hubby weeded around the raised beds and spread wood chips for a walking path. Looks very nice.
Daughter put supper in the oven tonight: sausages, baked potatoes and string beans. For dessert, vanilla instant pudding and chocolate chip cookies - still warm from the oven! Yummy, melty, chocolate chips!
Good to have you back AK. I missed you and thought of you and your mom often. Take your time before you think of going bak to work.
Washed the bathroom and kitchen rugs.
Have wash to fold from yesterday. Been using the dryer since it rains so often. Just little showers.

Spent part of the day dealing with a medical bill and loan that my Mom had. It stressed me out and made me depressed.
Had to go to UPS and fax death certificate and will to the loan company and emailed one for the medical bill.
Stopped at a pet supermarket but just couldn't think enough of what I need for carport kitty.
Watched 2 scary movies with Josh. I can't seem to read, listen to music or watch TV on my own at the moment.
Night time is very hard and I'm taking a sleeping pill and having a drink to try and cope.
I can't imagine how hard it would be if Josh wasn't here.
Manna thank you for thinking about me and my Mom. I miss her terribly.
Well....outside of cooking and doing dishes I haven't done much else today.
Night friends!

AK—sorry about the loan and debt. That would be stressful. Maybe skip the nightly drink, though. Just my humble opinion.
Went grocery shopping this morning.
Rode the exercise bike for 15 minutes. Then did my feet exercises.
Drove over to mom’s after lunch. It rained the whole way and that made my day since we need every little bit.
Made mom try on her summer pants and cute jackets. Sadly most don’t fit, so I took them to the thrift shop.
Cleaned out a kitchen cabinet that had out of date jams etc.
Had a good dinner in the dining room with cheese and broccoli soup, baked haddock, vegetable medley and vanilla ice cream with hot fudge sauce.
Spent a lot of time trying to get stains out of mom’s pants and blouses and one tan jacket. They are now in the wash. They then need to be dried and ironed.
I am exhausted.

Hiker taking care of someone is a lot of work. I know your Mom appreciates all you do for her.
I actually worked about an hour or so in the yard today. I picked up trash in the yard that's been there for about a month.
Also filled four wheelbarrows full of nicely decomposed oak tree chips and dirt and filled in bare spots in the front yard.
Watered outdoor plants and did a load of laundry.
Leftover hamburger helper, green beans and broccoli salad for dinner.
BTW, I'm terribly out of shape and struggled outside today. Was surprised I didn't last very long. Also it was pretty hot! Haven't spent time outdoors in awhile.
See you all tomorrow!

Took mom to her md appointment. A derecho blew through while there and the clinic had to go on backup generators.
Got myself soaked getting the car to get mom back to the retirement center and decided to stay for dinner as it is still thundering.
Tornado touched down in a city that is the half way point on my drive home. Will head home after dinner.
Later: nice dinner with mom: cauliflower garlic soup, arugula salad, meatballs with wine sauce, mashed potatoes, green beans and frozen chocolate yogurt with hot fudge. Needed that double chocolate today.
Then drove home. Corn totaled flattened about halfway home and semis lay on their side at the edge of the road but the sun was shining on my drive.
Stopped and got gas, unpacked and had a long chat with my BFF.

Scary storm, hiker! We got by easy the other night. Made a lot of noise, but no damage. Only trouble is that we barely got any rain out of it.
AK .. alcohol and sleeping pills combined are very dangerous. Please take care of yourself. We need you to hang around many more years!
We had our Bible study yesterday. Almost finished with the Minor Prophets. I think we have have two more lessons. Then on to Proverbs.
My college roommate was thrown from her horse today (actually, he slipped and bucked and she fell off). So she has 6 broken ribs and a hematoma on her hip. OUCH!!! She just turned 73 and still does team roping with her husband.
Went to exercise today. Had fun there. We cause as much trouble as we can while there. LOL.
It was unofficially 108 today, as recorded by my car. I did manage to take a quick walk at 8:30 and it was 93 degrees.
Hope everyone is safe from the bad air. Hope you have escaped that.

Fess up, Lymetoo. What kind of trouble do you cause at exercise?
Feeling a bit toxic today. Probably immune system overreacting to any germs I picked up at the retirement center.
I did ride the exercise bike just enough to meet my 100 minute per week goal. Did my knee, feet and shoulder exercises.
Set out for a walk but my legs didn’t really want to go with me and then the thunder started so I didn’t even make it off the cul-de-sac. We had two inches of rain here yesterday but not much today despite the thunder, lightning and wind.
Called mom.
Worked on my Bible study. We are doing a short study on spiritual warfare this summer. Only have a few weeks left.
Listened to the last two days of morning prayer from National Cathedral.
Took a nap.
Pork for dinner with yellow squash and tossed salad with strawberries. May sneak in my last ice cream bar for dessert.

TuTu whatcha doing causing trouble at cardiac rehab? Whatever it is count me in!
Hiker my legs aren't cooperating either. I think they're conspiring against us!
Made brunch for me and Josh and had leftover creamed chicken and biscuits for dinner.
Went to Josh's and drove his manual SUV around the block and we checked his mail and house.
My brother came over so that I could pay him the proceeds from my Mom's life insurance policy and give him a few things of my Dad's and a white gold nugget necklace made from my Dad's wedding ring per Mom's instructions.
Chaplin sent me a pamphlet and the times they meet for grief counseling. I couldn't read it because I burst into tears.....so I think I need to go.
Other than that I'm taking things slowly.
See you all tomorrow!

AK—grief counseling is a great idea. Is Josh able to walk after his back surgery? You are a super aunt to care for him.
I wasn’t so toxic today so was able to do more which really shows me how out of shape I am. 😳
I did a load of laundry.
Did my balance exercises and didn’t struggle as much today.
Walked outside but just for 10 minutes.
Did a wee bit of yard work cutting the asters down a bit so they bloom later in the summer or fall. Also pulled the buds off the chrysanthemums as they are trying to bloom now. Had to squat and realized how weak my legs are despite all the biking.
Watched my weekly Beth Moore video.
Went to the public library as 5 books that I had on hold came in.
Went to the store because chips and ice cream bars were on sale. And I wanted snacks for Independence Day if I can make them last that long.
Going to watch another old movie tonight. I watched a mystery last night called D.O.A that was really good. And I will read. The older movies are less than 2 hours.
Rained some this morning and I think we will get more rain tonight and tomorrow. We need it so no complaints here as long as the storms aren’t severe.
Have a good evening! 💕

Thank you so very much Ann-O!
Hiker Josh is doing great! Monday his stitches come out. I love old movies too and will have to check out your latest.
Deadheaded some flowers and watered a few plants. Played with carport kittie and took care of Josh and his dog. I bought breakfast this morning made an easy lunch of sandwiches and chips then heated some pre-made noodle soup for dinner.
Another rough night.....
