Wishing your husband a speedy, easy and great recovery! From the folks I know who have had this done, knee operations usually go great these days. He should be taking long walks with you again soon, I hope!!
Best wishes.

He is a master foreman elcetrician who runs teams of other electricians on big buildings. He is older than I am- he is 50 and has terrible diabetes and he is not on dialysis YET but his kidneys are on the verge of it so say his docs. He has brittle bad diabetes- dips or goes up frequently around 45 or 400!!! Not kidding. BAd. He has had really bad carpal tunnel in both wrists requiring surgery and rotator cuff surgeries in both shoulders and NOW a torn meniscus in his right knee!!! He also has, yup, I wasn't kidding when I said bad health, recurrent MRSA infections which have required hospitalization 4-5 times in past 2 years...
*sigh*
He vomited all night long, is running a fever> Been babying him, got him DVDs from store, special sandwiches (steak only his favroite), taking temp, patting him motherly on head a lot! Baby is delighting in his being home and is watching TV with him right now, usually she is still asleep!!!
I am going to force him to watch Brooke Landau with me- !*)*!)!)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait!!!
You East Coasters already saw her, but she's still coming this way*)*)!*)!
Thank you all- Sincerely,
