A great site for the memory impaired who cook from memory. Also helpful for those with special dietary needs.

You know what?? I just typed in gluten and wheat for ingredients I DON'T want and it gave me dishes containing "egg noodles" tortellini....etc
what gives??
I thought this would really help me. Am I doing something wrong?

I just put in eggs for "ingredients I do want" & wheat for "ingredients I don't want". It came up with a recipe for gluten free bread.
I just tried it with "pasta" in the want & wheat & gluten "don't". I was going to say no good, but actually I believe you can buy gluten-free pastas made with Quinoa or something.
As for tortellini? you may want to add that to don't want if you come up with a lot of them.
You still have to have kind of an idea what contains wheat & gluten I guess. I think it just gives recipes that don't contain the actual words you chose in the ingredients. Sorry.
