Would you guys be interested in a site redesign.. i've been researching this disease thats been annoying the **** out of me for a while now and this site seems to be a pretty valuable resource to a lot of people.
but man does it look like hell
it's like i was teleported to the early 90's.
I'd be more than happy to help you guys clean this site up and modernize it. for generally free (we can talk terms, but money will not be involved).

I think the site is wonderful. It works. A great deal of information is available.
One thing that would be nice, though, is if the flashing were gone from the emoticons and the Amazon ad as they are very distracting.
Still, some do okay with them and a sticky note works to cover them up on my screen.
I appreciate all the work those building this site put into it. I think it looks fine (to say it looks like hell is really insulting to those who have dedicated so much effort).
Still, if someone is offering to volunteer their time to the webmaster, that's fantastic. They might have to be cleared with security measures if posters IP addresses would be available to them.
It's also important to note that any redesign would have to take into account the need to not be flashy or have too sharp of a contrast as that would be hard on the eyes of those with neuro-lyme.
It would need to be gentle on the eyes and calming to the brain, as it is now with its shaded background and relatively quiet background.

I think it may need an update. On the other hand, an update might be too confusing to people that have been here awhile or even newer people like me. It just depends on how far you wanna take it.

keebler brought out a lot of vital, user-friendly comments for us neuro folks.
if lymenet admin/you decide to do something, please post what you PLAN TO DO and have a POLL for 1-2 weeks to get folks' input what will work for MAJORITY of folks ok! we may think of things you never did since you don't suffer from all the decades of neuro stuff that we do.
thanks for your consideration of my suggestion
