DR S wrote about this in his book Desperation Medicine. He also wrote about Lyme disease in the same book.

If you want to read more, look up the work of Ritchie Shoemaker, MD. He has been at the forefront of identifying this and other fish-borne toxins along the Maryland Seaboard.

In his book, "Desperation Medicine" he details this - and lyme - among infections that create dangerous neurotoxins.

In the left hand menu, he lists a couple of the fish-toxin diseases.

Note, however, that is approach to treating lyme differs from that of ILADS' LLMDs. His information about the horrible effects of lyme toxins are right on. But, IMO, he is too quick to put it into post-lyme syndrome and not still go after the spirochete.

His theory is to mainly address the neurotoxins by pulling them out of the body. All that is good but the ILADS' LLMD go further in addressing the infection and the liver support for neurotoxin reduction.
