try to remember - that when I started school, it was one room, one teacher, and 8 grades.. 75 kids. one teacher teaching every subject and we learned from her way of understanding each childs need as a Mother did.. back then.. thank you teachers that love their students by the arm fulls not by the pay.. \♥/

That is an awesome experience, payne!! You are so lucky to have experienced a one room school!

My favorite teaching experience was in a school with only 8 classrooms. Some years we only had 7. It was wonderful. I taught there for 11 years.
