I stopped being an organ donor because I don't trust the medical profession anymore.
Big Pharma pays a lot of money to congress to get whatever they want.

I figured I shouldn’t be an organ donor since Lyme might be lurking.
But I have friends who have benefited from donated organs and donated bone marrow.
I will say when my dad was in the hospital prior to his death (not Covid) he got great care at the hospital. They really listened to me and did exactly as I asked. I think it depends on the hospital and the doctor. And even with Covid raging at the time I was allowed to be by his bedside.
They even wrote my name and phone number on the white board in the room to call me before giving any meds.
But I have had my share of idiot doctors.
