While I don't agree with this law, please note that this is an opinion piece and is playing loose with the facts.
Judges are not going to let murderers etc. back on the streets because even if they pose no harm to anyone else, they are flight risks.
This law is intended for more minor offenses.
Like I said I don't agree with this law, but at least our state didn't have a former disgraced governor running for Senate who threatened in ad with his AK15 that RINOs were bad.

Dangerous convicted felons, including murders, are turned back onto the streets every day, in every State! In addition to the years of police dispatching, I live in the hood & I see it all the time.
No "loose with the facts", regardless of what the article says.
Utterly naive to think otherwise.
