Hello all,
I am in the middle of trying to have my resume and portfolio printed.
I went into a local copy center in a small city to drop off my jump drive with the word and PDF files for printing...when I returned to proof them- they were not what I expected, so I cancelled the order since I HAD to leave town anyway.
Now that I am in a larger city with an actual kinko's, I am trying to get things printed correctly...BUT...
My jump drive now reads that it is 'write protected' and will NOT let me open or copy anything new!
WHAT HAPPENED???
How can a memory stick become write protected, and how do I fix this new delema?
Please help- I am really discouraged!
Thanks in advance, M

Sorry I don't have an answer for you Melanie but maybe an IT person will come along soon.
Just didn't want you to feel ignored when you have been so helpful to others.

Thank you Stella Marie, you are so kind!
Tree-Hugger! I couldn't get that little jump drive open, but I did look at it more carefully once I saw your pictures... I saw a place at the very tip that had sort of a lock-unlock switch, and I unlocked the switch, and can now copy and paste into the drive!!!
THANK YOU!!! Problem solved, I think!
Much love to you both, Melanie
