tony, never heard of this before! I checked my keyboard, and there is some type of thing UNDER the pc, i've pushed it left, right, and in middle ... still NOISEY KEYBOARD.
tony, thanks for telling me about this thought after 25 years of being on a pc! better late than never!
anyone else know for sure where the QUIET button is. i have a MUTE but that's for my speakers of music, etc

Huh? What's noisy about your keyboard? The actual keys when you type (the sound coming from the physical keys)?
Or do you have like some silly sound effect coming from your computer speakers when you type?
If your keys are noisy there's nothing you can do about that except buy a new keyboard that has quiet keys.
btw- theres no such thing as a 'keyboard silencer' as far as I know.
