I spilled coffee on my keyboard (again!) and my control key isn't working adn I can't cut & paste- is there another way to cut & paste other than control c and then control v???

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't afford a new keyboard!!!!!!!! AGH!!!!
I HAVE two keyboards but my other one no longer has working letter rs or ds and a few other letters because I spilled coffee on it!!!!!
AGH AGH AGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use Macs but the keyboards are near identical...isn't there a dropdown menu at the top under 'edit'?, and you can just use your mouse to copy and paste.

I always do that rather than control v anyway because I can use a mouse better than I can type, which is not at all....

Sarah, do you have a mouse with 2 buttons?

I generally cut, copy and paste by highlighting what I want and right clicking and choosing from that drop down menu. (I think this works the same as what Charlie suggested above.)


eg. highlight stuff to be copied and right click and choose "copy"...

go where I want to put it, left click the spot and than right click and choose "paste".


You might want to consider a sippy cup for that coffee, kiddo. [Wink]


Someone I used to work with insisted that the way to fix stuck keyboards was to drop them from a height (not a very high one). I don't know if that works or it was her frustration talking and it was a matter of satisfacation doing so.
