HTML is no longer enabled making it impossible to post a long URL without making the page go wide.

Can HTML please be enabled? If not, is there a workaround for this problem?

Thanks,
Terry

terry,

use www.tinyurl.com

copy your long link and post it in their top area asking for it.

it converts it to SMALL tiny link, and copy that new small one and paste to the page you want to post it too.

IF the LONG ONE IS ON LYMENET, PLEASE DELETE IT AFTER POSTING THE "SHORT ONE" there or the page will still be super wide!

hope this helps you. it does me! xox

Thanks Betty. Forgot about tinyurl. Still, I'd like to be able to use HTML.

We disabled the use of HTML in posts and PMs because of the frequent misuse/abuse by spammers who embedded HTML code to display inappropriate content or link to inappropriate sites without the knowledge of the forum readers.

The forum software does allow a way to safely attach links and other content using "UBB Code". For a quick tutorial, see http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=ubb_code_page
