Some people did not get the graph shown below. I hope this time all will see it.
If anyone doubts the rapid rise in tick-borne diseases in the USA, this graph is convincing. All you need to note is the way all the graphs are going up rapidly.

Our November 19 monthly meeting will be at a special location at the genesis building - State & Union streets in Downtown Kennett Square - see below for the topic and map.

Rates of tick-borne infection in the United States have been increasing dramatically since 2000. See graph from http://exhibit.gideononline.com/Tick-USA.jpg


(Lyme disease displayed as cases/100 000 to allow fit - use right side Y axis.) Lyme is more than 10 times as common as the other tick-borne diseases in total numbers (shown on left side Y axis).

Although this phenomenon might reflect changes in human exposure dynamics and artifacts of reporting and diagnosis, It seems likely that these data are also related to increasing tick and animal reservoir populations.
