Next Regular Meeting - Wednesday, September 16, 2009
7-9 PM at our REGULAR LOCATION:
The Kennett Friends Meetinghouse
250 N. Union St. Kennett Square, PA 19348

Program: Amelia Withington, MD will present the latest information on Morgellons disease. Come hear one of the few doctors who has had Morgellons and learn from her experience as both a patient and a physician.
Learn more about Dr. Withington here. =>

"To my knowledge I am one of only three medical doctors in the US who have Morgellons. I might have something to offer from my experience that might be useful to this unique gathering. I will be telling you my personal tale in the hope that it might provide some helpful information for each of you. If nothing else, it may be comforting to some of you to hear a doctor acknowledging from her own experience that Morgellons is a bona fide disease. Link to full text of Dr. Withington's presentation - 16 pages.

Tuesday, September 29, 7:30
Bryn Mawr Film Institute
824 West Lancaster Avenue, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010 610-527-9898 More...

There will be a Q&A and discussion immediately following the film, including:

* a local family featured in the film, the Shea family from Coatesville, PA
* a local Lyme Literate MD, Dr. Ann Corson, MD
* a Temple University professor addressing the ethics involved in the current situation with Lyme disease, Dr. Lynne Andersson

Please get the word out to anyone you know, especially medical professionals, and those affected by Lyme disease. This is an excellent opportunity for the public to learn more about the broad spectrum of views on Lyme and related Tick-Borne Infections, and the disease impact in our communities.
