I am a High School Student, and am doing a research project on Lyme disease. For my project I need to interview people who have lyme disease. I am particularly interested in finding other students.
If you are interested in doing an interview, please let me know. I think the best way to work it would be to email you the questions, and you could let me know your response
Thanks

welcome draba,
I'm NOT a student with lyme, but I have some suggestions for you ok!
why not paste your questions here so they can get read over them as well as their parents first!
then they could reply to each of your questions using lymenet's PRIVATE MESSAGE system.
I know of at least 1 dozen active teens, etc. on the board.
I also sent you my welcome newbie lengthy package, and perhaps you can get a lot of good info there ok.
if you copy my newbie package to your wordprocessor, MS word, use EDIT, FIND, and type in melanie reber.
hit enter until you find FINANCIAL BURDENS and please include that in your research project.
public needs to hear how financially devastating our lyme/co-infections are:
losing our jobs, health insurance, divorces since the spouses can't take it anymore; losing our homes, going bankrupt; being HOMELESS!
also view in SUPPORT VICTORIA'S TEEN LYME VIDEO!! just recently done and airing on you tube!
well, I've given you some good info to get into your report.
perhaps you could AIR V's 3.5 minute video in class? what an impact it would have!!
best wishes, and let us know your results ok.
could you post your results on lymenet for other teens/adults to read? thanks so much!
best wishes for your future that it may be HEALTHIER AND HAPPIER for you!
be sure to print out Betty/LDA brochure in newbie package... I combined LDA's general brochure and their CO-INFECTION brochure plus adding much more to it!

Thanks so much for all the tips. I will look into finding the video.
I have lyme as well as 2 co-infections, and know how awful it is. Thats why I choose it for my project. More people should be educated about it.

Yeah. Thanks. They are in the General area, as bettyg said.

I have two teen daughters with lyme disease. Maybe they can help if you are still working on this.
