Hi Folks. I hope it's okay to post this here, if not well then take it off but my heart says I gotta let everyone know how I feel.
We all want freedom right? Freedom to choose what's best for our bodies right? Someone who is not going to mandate or force us to get something we don't want right?
This guy makes perfect sense to me.
Please consider him. He dosen't take pact money, he doesn't drive a fancy car. He opted out of congressional pension program. He says what he means and means what he says. He doesn't promise the moon like most do and co-sponser health bills that has no intention of carrying through on.

i just checked our LYME BILL in senate and house;
someone recommended RON PAUL;
i looked for his name in HR and Senate bills ... HE HAS NOT SIGNED ON AS CO-SPONSOR!~ ***************************************
please work on him; CHECK PINEAPPLE'S post on both bills!!
we've got to get ALL pres. candidates in congress to SIGN ON AS CO-SPONSORS!
those that did earlier....
Chris Dodd wrote bill and had to drop out;
HILLARY AND OBAMA signed; no republicans to date!

Betty, I'm still so new to all this but I will research why Ron Paul has not signed. I am sure there is a good reason. If you look at his record he has always fought for health freedoms.
Frankly, If they gave us a billion dollars to research lyme, the monies always get stuck somewhere or diverted to some "wild goose chase" and noone benefits, just like all the cancer research. They have all kinds of inexpensive cures for cancer but isn't a money maker for the pharmaceutical co's so they get buried.
This could be the reason why RP did not sign??? He knows corrupt people run the show and we would ultimatley suffer.
What better way to go then to give the freedom to choose our providers, getting rid of HMO's and offering all the kinds of things proposed by RP and Goodness..... I think we'll get somewhere.
I just can't support a candidate who offers socialized medicine and all kinds of mandatory vaccines, this will doom us for sure!!! even if they DID sign some bill. Co-signing a bill for something we hope will help means little when everything else they do hurts us and takes away our freedoms. Just my thoughts. Thanks for listening.

The other side of the coin is to lay down, not ask for anything to help our cause... and get absolutely nothing for the effort.
If 1/5 of the money is well spent... it would be well worth it as it is desperately needed.
To not try to get help is the sad part... especially knowing it will end up elsewhere and we COULD have used it wisely for a national crisis.
Plus, it is OUR tax money... so I would like to have the ability to say how it is spent.
