Ch. 3, KCRA, (NBC), 6 & 11 pm.

For those out of the area, it should be available later on the website at www.kcra.com.

KCRA ran Lyme stories last night at 6 & 11 pm. You can see them at the website:

http://www.kcra.com/health/18943181/detail.html

If you register, you can leave a comment. It would be good to thank the station
for reporting about Lyme disease. (To my knowledge, KCRA hasn't done anything
about Lyme in recent years...)

I was very happy that KCRA ran a segment on lyme, but was very disappointed that they let the doctor from the IDSA talk about that there was science to support that there is "no" good reason to use abx for more than 3 months.

Very depressing and he claimed that Lyme is over diagnosed. =(

Yes, you can leave comments. Just go to the link and click on the left side on home and then click on the bottome where it says contact station and there will be an area for you to leave a message.

I already wrote them and have a received a response back from the investigative reporter and am going to contact her in the next day or so. I want to have my thoughts organized before I do so.

5 or 6 replies, and it RUNS ALL WORDS TOGETHER. so there goes my double spacing, etc. [Eek!] [Eek!]

Well done news video on lyme disease! So glad you interviewed 6-year-old Jenny Heyn, who got to tell you her story briefly. When you see a young child with this debilitating disease.

I've had chronic lyme disesae for 39 years; 34.5 years MISDIAGNOSED by 40-50 drs! Therefore, I have more diagnosis/symptoms which have complicated my ENTIRE WORK LIFE. Next week, I'll turn 60.

Please cover the LYME DISEASE WAR between the ILADS, International Lyme Associated Disease Society, better known to us chronic lyme disease patients as LLMDS, lyme literate mds.

And IDSA, Infectious Disease Society, aka infectious disease drs. who are the bad drs. in my humble opinion since they UNDERTREAT UP TO 3 WKS. MAX of antibiotics, and many give ONE PILL ONLY, and you "are CURED"! HOG WASH!!

That's what creates "chronic" lyme; not being treated long enough with antibiotics.

Please do stories also showing TICK PREVENTION; how you should dress outdoors and what tick spray and clothes you should wear.

Please show the bulls-eye rash and the other rashs caused by CO-INFECTIONS: BARTONELLA, BABSIOSA, ERLICHIA, ROCKY MOUNTAIN SPOTTED FEVER, etc. Thank you again for the wonderful news video and written article above.BettyG, Iowa lyme activist
