Lyme Advocacy

UPDATE

PLEASE FORWARD AND CROSS-POST

The rally will be held on Thursday May 14th between 10-12:00 pm. in Columbia SC.

This rally is not just for those in SC, but for patients, family members and friends from surrounding states to be included.

Legislators will be in session and they have received personal invitations to this event.

Though some of you don't even remotely live near here, please send this email to those that you know in SC & surrounding states, like GA, NC & VA.

WE ARE COUNTING ON YOU TO BE THERE! THIS IS YOUR RALLY AND YOUR NUMBERS COUNT!

THIS RALLY WILL CAPTURE THE ATTENTION OF THE MEDIA ABOUT LYME DISEASE!

The honorable Lt. Governor Andre Bauer will be speaking on behalf of patients.

We are also very pleased to announce that Dr. James Schaller, prolific author and researcher and physician will also be speaking.

He has written 25 books and 27 articles in peer-reviewed publications to date. No one has published more tick infection books than this Dr!

He specializes in patients who have experienced repeated treatment failures and will be addressing the topic of The 29 Reasons Lyme Disease Treatment Fails, which will soon be a journal article.

Dr. Schaller is a leading researcher on outcome results-what fails and what works.

He has discovered many medical inventions including a top cancer cure.

He is an expert designer of many alternative and traditional treatments utilizing the "It must clearly work" approach to treatment.

Dr. Schaller will not "flee" after his talk - He will try to answer as many questions as possible!

THIS WILL BE DR. SCHALLER'S ONLY SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT THIS YEAR, SO THIS EVENT PROMISES TO BE AN EDUCATIONAL EVENT FOR LYME PATIENTS!

Please RSVP to me at [email protected] , so we can have a head count.

People from any state are welcome to come. Bring family, friends and of course, wear lime green.

Please join us for this historic event. IT IS CRITICAL TO THE CAUSE OF LYME TO MAKE YOUR PRESENCE KNOWN!

Lyme Disease as you know, is a much bigger issue than is imagined by the general populous which barely knows what it is and what it does.

We need to show this by our numbers.

Your presence or those that you know of will be a huge boost to getting Lyme into the mainstream and recognized.

If you have any media contacts, please inform them and ask them to come and cover this event. Thank you all so much!

imagine,

may i suggest you add more to subject line:

date, time, & place!! this way you get their attention since it's a short time away

also, would you break up that huge, long paragraph into many short ones for the neuro members from those states so they can read and comprehend all the important details.

looks great of what i could read....

just click on pencil, 3rd box to right of your name in your top post; opens up subject line and body text.

hope you have MAXIMUM coming! [Smile] [group hug] [kiss]

UP. (Rally this Thursday!)

I have 1 question...
How is it that I hear about doctors saying "there is no Lyme diease in So Carolina"... yet the CDC's OWN CASE TABLES <http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dvbid/lyme/ld_rptdLymeCasesbyState.htm> show CDC+ patients being reported IN So Carolina right back to 1993 (i.e: 17 CDC+ cases reported in '95).
Granted, the #s are much greater in No Carolina, but why are some S.C. MDs so defiantly ignorant?

Also notice Arkansas. Cases have Dropped... to ZERO (save a lone case in 2007). What are They doing right? Did the ticks all get healthy in Clinton's home state come 2003?
