Because it often fills up, please do what I say, and not as I do.
Get your plans made early. I went one year and there was no space left. Bummer dude!
Unfortunately, a doc got sick part way through the morning programs and had to leave.... and offered me their spot.
Also, get a room too. Plenty of time to find room mates to share expenses that way.

Sounds good. Wish I could go.

I called to confirm and all rooms for Thursday thru Saturday night are taken at the lower LDA conference price... even after adding more rooms to the "block" several times.
My guess is the conference is also filling up too.. and once it is full no more can register, period... so do keep that in mind.
BUT.. they do still have rooms available in the hotel for folks wanting to stay there.
I asked about other possible "discounts" and was told someone might get a discount for the following reasons....
Member of certain motor clubs, seniors citizen discounts, certain corporation discounts (your employer may have discounts for Hyatt Regency). The person booking the room needs to ask about it when they call in.
You may also want to be checking with other attendees about sharing a room... knocking it down to 1/2 price for both people.
You may also need to be a bit "pushy" but nice.. as the reservation clerks don't seem to want to find that "special deal" voluntarily.
There are also larger rooms with more than one bed and a sofa bed, so more than one room mate might be a possibility.
