I think they will only change their tune when they have another vaccine. Baxter seems to have one for viral TBE. I was trying to find where they are working on a Lyme one. I know I once read about it on their site...

Check out the scary tick video. Strange that it doesn't mention Borrelia burgdorferi or other bacteria transmitted by the tick. Just viral encephalitis. I guess that wouldn't be good for sales of the virus vaccine.
