What do we do now that AB bluementhal will be running for senate. We must put pressure on him now. It has been 10 days and he has had time to read the report. How do we get a little help with these jerks.

You are right. It is an election yr.
I do not expect to get a response from any until at least after the primaries if not the election....
Which may effect everything we have worked for up
to now and put us at square one all over again if
our allies are not elected to help us.

The fact that his office is letting obvious voting violations (technically, obstruction of justice) stand and is lying about them--saying that the IDSA is correct in their assertion that blood testing is not a recommendation when it's "necessity" is stated throughout the guidelines --makes me think that either they were "controlled opposition" from the beginning or that someone "got to them."
Once more, we see that the problem is bigger than just the IDSA cabal.

Do requests for funding from CDC belong to the freedom of information act?
Can we get records of how many requests have been denied?

http://www.cfids.org/advocacy/cdc-scandal.asp * Between 1995 and 1998, 57%, or $12.9 million, of the funds CDC reported to have been spent on CFIDS research were spent on other programs. * $8.8 million was used on completely unrelated research programs and the records on $4.1 million were so poor that the IG couldn't tell how they were spent. * * CDC provided inaccurate information to Congress about the amount they had spent on CFIDS. CDC officials ignored Congressional direction telling them to increase the agency's efforts on CFIDS.
