At least he tried.--- The charges were brought of "Conflict of Interest", when they implemented the guidelines. On that point he did succeed.
They now report financial interests!
But he did get us a review of the guidelines. Albeit-very disappointing outcome.
We did not charge him with the goal of making this world right.
For that it is going to take many more than him. I have spoke with several MS groups who refuse to believe---and I don't know why!
They say things like Lupus is similar to MS or ALS but they are different in the body.
Yet they will not rationalize that everyone is different, and different bugs work differently in the body.
And choose to be stuck with a syndrome of unknown etiology. Instead of trying.

I don't hink he has given up on us. At least, he is a beleiver in our plight. That goes a long way. His voice can convince others in authority.
Truth is, the scandal is bigger than him and insurance companies, IDSA and bigpharma are all bigger than him. But, we just need a lot of little changes to make an impact.
