A study published in the International Journal of Biological Sciences asserts three tested varieties of Monsanto's genetically modified corn can cause organ failure, calling for further research.

France, which banned Mon 810 in 2008, is calling for more research into the environmental safety of Mon 810 -- the only gm corn allowed to be

grown in Europe. France presented its concerns to a European body reviewing Mon 810. The European Commission will finalize the review in February.
==================================================
Looks like America's biggest oil spill will be in our own backyards...Bill Gates and Monsanto do not have enough money to turn this around if this research is on.

Last week, my brother told me he read an article about starting GMO in practically everything we grow, not just corn. It's all about the money...

Yes it all started as an effort to increase yield.

Then they were allowed to continue unchecked and untested to where we now have to rely on other countries telling US this stuff can kill you....

Just go ahead and drill them wells knowing full well it could blow and nothing was in place to stop catastrophe.

In 1980 they also let them patent and profit from live organisms. Unchecked. Now we have Morgellons.

We Americans have to get our Protective governing agencies back, without any conflicts of interest.

The good news is we have stock piles of (I hope

organic)seed in storage if anything ever did happen.

I was watching a YouTube video on Chem Trails (Chemical Trails) the gov't is releasing in the air - supposedly to stop global warming. They're doing more harm than good. They are releasing substances like Aluminum into the air to reflect harmful rays back to the earth.

These people state that when a jet passes over, creating a trail that doesn't dissipate fairly quickly and tends to radiate out and cover the sky - it is a Chem Trail.

Some people in Hawaii who rely on non gmo food - growing their own food - now say the only thing that will grow there is gmo food. There is an actress involved in this community. I think it was Mariel Hemingway?

This is all so spooky.

"What profiteth a man to gain the whole world, but to lose his soul?" He ends up losing the world, too.

Our poor planet!

There is so much joy in helping another person and in having compassion. Spending your whole life only thinking about "how much more can I get" can make a person miserable. Why be greedy?

I just don't get it.

There is so much our gov't is involved in that we know nothing about. I'm not sure if I want to know, but is ignorance really bliss? Ignorance can be deadly.

Ethics of Synthetic Biology Conference concluded last week on CSpan.
The very last question was

"What to do about coordinating other countries data and findings into the US regulatory in the research into genetically modified organics?"

The answer by at least 2 on the committee was, "Needs addressed. Esp. in relation to ...Corn for example"...

The NIH speaker was very eloquent and when addressing the need of regulations need did they believe the current guidelines need tossed and rewritten.

Their answers were no---it is true the regulations are not keeping up with the science,

but they believed that by either introducing another group to address that job,

or delegating that job to groups already in place-----it could be accomplished..

I think they done missed the boat...

Supposedly, all corn, soybeans, cotton, 50% of Hawaiian papaya and more are GMO. It's on YouTube.

I've recently found YouTube and you can learn about, absolutely, everything. Really! It tells, in video form, all about GMOs and anything, else, you could possibly want to know..

Good for France. Too bad they can't control what the wind, bugs, tire treads, birds, food contamination, etc. etc. bring in from across their borders (pollen! seeds!).

Too bad the entire world hasn't banned this stuff before it had a permanent effect on our ecosystem and food supply (soil, water, air, plants AND animals - the animals we're being fed are fed GMOs).

There is no going back now, we can only work to keep it from getting worse.

Everyone needs to see this documentary about Monsanto and GMO products -

please see the link below where you can watch the entire film, which will never be shown here in the US:

Monsanto said that, because of wind drift, all corn is GMO.

So corn, canola, soybeans, rapeseed, 50% of Hawaiian papaya and more, are GMO.

Do you know how hard it is to buy a prepared food that doesn't have High Fructose Corn Syrup, canola or Soy in it? It's almost impossible. Even some tuna cans have soy in them now.
