The study on Immune Responses and Symptoms in Lyme Disease Patients and Healthy Controls titled "Multi-Method Examination of Diverse Manifestations of Lyme Disease" conducted at Stanford University is still looking for participants.

Please consider participating if you are eligible. Many of you have contacted us and your contribution is greatly appreciated, but we need more!

Immune Responses and Symptoms in Lyme Disease Patients and Healthy Controls

Stanford University

Can you test the participants for the novel virus XMRV? That would be valuable...

I guess we'll find just a big of percentage in chornic lyme patients as in the other syndromes (me/ms/fms etc).

I agree that it would be valuable, but that would have to be a separate or add-on study.

Yes, a add on would be great. Published separatly. There are good chances the WPI or Harvey Alter's NIH lab could give you a discount. Chances are even they would analyze it for free if they could be co authors of the add on...

I think that would take us a leap forward. Many chronic lyme patients are suspecting XMRV. Even burrascano is suspecting XMRV. If you could contribute here than it's greatly appreciated.

A negative result would also take us forward... Then we've tured that stone, and can keep on looking for something else which might help those patients... Thanks for the reply by the way.
