Over four thousand Lyme patients participated in LymeDisease.org's first survey -- the largest ever of Lyme patients -- and a prestigious public health journal published the results. Now we're doing another one. If you haven't taken it yet, please take a moment to share your views.

The patient perspective on Lyme treatment options is largely ignored by the medical establishment. With information from this important survey, we hope to change that! This survey is about patient values and preferences.

To find out more about the survey AND take the survey go to
http://www.lymedisease.org/news/lyme_disease_views/surveyends.html

To go directly to the survey go to
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/XLG5QTG

(Note: the system only allows one survey per computer. If you have multiple family members with Lyme, they will need access to additional computers to take the survey.)

If you are over 13, resident of US, and have Lyme (or minor family member) Please take this survey.Since we launched this survey in early October, we have drawn over 4,800 responses. The survey will end on January 1 so I encourage those of you who have not yet responded to take the time to do so. According to the Institute of Medicine, guideline developers must consider patient values and preferences to be considered trustworthy. This survey aims to find out what you think is important about treatment options, choices, risks and benefits. Respond to the survey and remind the IDSA that patient values are central to treatment guidelines!

I am not a Doctor and I never played one on TV, I'm just a lab rat with Lyme trying to rid myself of this horrible disease.
