Consumers Union, the policy and action arm of Consumers Report, wants us to contact our Congresspersons. Health insurers are required to refund money if the amount they spend on salaries and perks for executives exceeds a certain amount. Wow, I had no idea this was the law. But the lobbyists are trying to stop this refunding (in the form of lower premiums).

Everyone who has health insurance ought to be getting in on this action, not just us lymed folks.

Thank you Poppy for the info and link. It is sad that overhead NOT linked to medical coverage could exceed %20. Add partial reimbursement of Dr. visits and the "denial" of coverage gravy train that insurance companies continually ride and we end up with health care expenses that are double the % of GDP as compared to most other Western industrialized nations.
