Is there any help for someone who lost custody of both of my children because they missed school due to lyme?
I was accused of munchausens by proxy they would not even let the LLMD take the stand. I have only supervised visits and they were my world. ANYONE HELP?
I have written to legislators but they just send me back to either the court or dcf and they are the ones who took my kids.
I am a loving responsible mother but my ex used the fact that they missed school due to lyme to take them from me He had vowed to destroy me being an abusive man.
Please send me any ideas of how to get justice and return my girls to their mother who was their primary caregiver all their lives.

I am so sorry. I can't begin to imagine how hard this must be for you. Years ago I also had an abusive man who ended up with my child. Was there a guardian ad item involved?

Hi. Thanks for the support. Yes there was a gal who had made up her mind before she met me as did the judge. There was no due process at all. In fact the lyme doctors were stopped from testifying,
I cry all the time and don't want to go on at times. How did you live after that? Any help would be loved. I am so sad. My whole life since I was a little girl was to be a mommy and its all destroyed.
I have a daughter who is 27 and I raised her but from 10-18 she had him as her abusive stepfather. Now he has my little ones 10 and 13. What kind of people let an 8 year old be ripped from their mother?

Have you read the Lundy Bancroft books? A lot of material is available on his website www.lundybancroft.com
Is there a *good domestic violence shelter near you? They sometimes offer legal assistance, information, and advocacy training.
You aren't crazy. The system failed. Take care of you so you can be available in whatever way for your beautiful kids. I'm very sorry this happened to your family. But don't give up. Cry, break some stuff, and get up and keep going.

The Lyme Disease Association has some information that might be helpful on school and kids. Maybe something there to give you some new perspective?
