As we become more and more aware of the importance of detoxing ourselves in regards to Lyme Disease, I thought I would post an invitation here for everyone to share ideas and methods of detoxing for the benefit of all of us.

I'll start it off with something very simple. Avoid using toothpaste, water and mouthwash with flouride.

Anyone else?

My LLMD told me he wanted me to detox with bentonite clay.

So, I did a search on the web and came up with a company that sells it:

LL's Magnetic Clays -"Pulls Toxins Out Like a Magnet"

1- 800-257-3315 www.magneticclay.com

They have also sent me information similar to what GiGi posted regarding where we are picking up these toxins and what to avoid.

So far, I have taken two foot baths and two regular baths with just a cup of clay.

I did notice a difference and I did notice the clay turned darker in color.

My LLMD said he also wanted me to take hot epsom salt baths every other day when I first started treatment as I am not near a sauna or hot tub.

I also noticed that when I first started taking the epsom salt baths that the white epsom salts turned black..interesting.

I thought it was from the poor water quality of where I live at first, but after several baths, I am no longer seeing the black epsom salts left behind.

It must have been something that it was pulling out from my body.

I am still looking for a place to purchase the epsom salts in bulk instead of the 4 pound cartoons. So, if you know of a place please let me know. I feel it has really helped with the overall aching of the body and clearing the head.

I, too, changed to a natural toothpaste, shampoo's, cleaning stuff, etc. I get that from www.trivita.com or 1-800-991-7116.

I did sign up as a business associate with this company so if you think of it please give them my id number: 11520986

They sell the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hand wash and deordorant separately or you can buy a personal care pack for $39.99.

I use Tincup's Tea Recipe and try to move around enough to break a sweat....if I am up to it.

I like the natural products idea. I use natural toopaste but cheaper shampoo and stuff. Thanks for the link Kam.
