Hi Everyone,

It's me again! Trying to get the word out about the Lyme retreat that will be happening November 18th-21st (Thursday-Sunday). (NOTE: It is also very possible for those not able to miss work or school to join us on Friday the 19th and stay for the remainder of the weekend.)

The retreat will be a way for Lymies to meet each other, get and give support, do some fun activities, and RELAX! Lymies of all ages, especially including children and teenagers, as well as their families are welcome to come for the weekend. So far I have 34 people of varying ages and from all across the country signed up. The retreat will take place in North Oxford, MA which is easily accessible from the Providence, RI airport. Local motels are available for those who would fly in early and I am available to make trips to the airport if a car rental is not desired.

Activities will include:

Yoga and Meditation
Arts and Crafts
Support Group Meetings
Creative Writing
Outdoor Walks (if desired and weather permitting)
Live Music
Movies
And lots of R & R in a beautiful location!

The cost of the weekend is $80 for adults and $70 for children 12 and under. This cost includes lodging and all meals. There may be a small additional cost ($10 per person) for liability insurance but it is unclear how much it will cost in total at this point. It would be very helpful if people who can afford it could chip in a little extra money to defray the costs of this and other expenses as well as help out others who cannot afford to pay the full price.

Lodging cosists of winterized cabins that each hold approximately 15-20 people and are divided up into multiple rooms or multiple floors. All cabins have full bathrooms and are very cozy. A larger cabin also has a common meeting room for small meetings or activities. Use of the dining hall and kitchen is also included and a cook will be there to prepare all meals except breakfasts which will be continental.

If you have any questions, would like more information, or would like to sign up, PLEASE, e-mail me at [email protected].

Peace and healing,
Annie
