I apologize for using this forum to seek a doc in my area. It seems as though this area gets more traffic so I thought my chances would be better. I'm in Waterford, Ct.. am willing to travel a bit.. looking for a LLMD.
Thanks so much and again I'm sorry.
Deanna

they don't have lyme in se conn.
you must have something else.
ask on the docotrs section of the forum or look for your closest support group under support groups and they will send you a certified list

If I should become a veteran member of this board, I should hope to never respond in this insensitive manner.

Dear Deanna,

Not to worry...

I know of several. Do you want an LLMD for an adult or a child? I have names and #s for both.

You may email me if you like.

Good luck!!

love,
andie, JC & Julie

i promise i won't answer any of your posts if you can't take a little humor. i answer posts for 2-3 hours every day for people and sometimes i like to joke, if you don't like jokes then don't read my post, but you'll miss alot of good information. i know i'm dislexic and can't spell but i'm a doctor what do you expect, we also have no sense of humor either.
i did direct you to the support group for help, and usually if it is a joke i put lol which means lots of laughs , but since your new i didn't think you would understand.
se ct has the highest incidence of lyme disease in the country except for maybe where i live in se pa.probably 60% of the people there have lyme disease.
they just send out letters to 100 households in area near chadds ford and the response was 46% of households had at least 1 person with lyme disease. the cdc says less than 1% have lyme disease, big difference.
i'm sorry if i offended you, but many of my post have joking or sarcasism in them, and if it offends you , then maybe you should not read my posts.
thanks for the lovely email also.
its ok i don't bruise easily.
i have not had any complaints from the group in my 3 years answering questions and usually get 10 emails a day to answer questions, so i must know something.
again sorry and i won't answer you posts again unless you want me to.

No problem docdave. I seroiusly thought it was a wisecrack to the obvious. I figured it may have been a newbie stab of some sort. I didn't see anything that would have hinted to it being a joke so that is why I took it lieterally. I assure you, humor is one of my greatest pleasures and there is no need to ever tread lightly near me. Though my feathers were a bit ruffled, no harm no foul and I appreciate your follow up!

I have a habit of being overlly sarcastic to the point of turning people off in a bad way.

The think is I just want to be funny and liked. You see all these comedians and people on TV and everyone says they like someone with a sense of humor.

But you have to tone it down for the public.
