My wife was just starting her LD testing, but we just found out she is pregnant.
I am wondering if there is any effect on a Igenex test if you take it once pregnant?
Also, in general, are LD symptoms known to increase/same/decrease suing pregnancy? Is there a consensus?

Hi... First of all, congratulations!! I wouldn't think that pregnancy would have an effect on WB testing, but I don't know that for sure. I think I would call Dr. Jones, the Lyme pediatrician in CT. He will do a phone consult for a small cost. His number is (203) 772-1123. He can also advise on treatment during pregnancy if necessary.
My Lyme symptoms got worse during the very end of my last pregnancy. I have heard from others who have had their symptoms flare at the beginning. I think that the surge of hormones can sometimes trigger things.
