This is a great site that I just found too. I would be more than happy to talk to you about what you're going through. Please feel free to call me at home if you would like. Send me an e-mail if you would like my phone number. [email protected] Sometimes talking to a person is even better than the computer. My husband is wonderful and supportive, but he doesn't really understand what it's like.

Welcome Lady Raven......this site has been a God sent to thousands of us Lyme patients....I was diagnosed in March and was very happy to find this site too....

Everybody on here is very kind, helpful, understanding, and you can feel free to ask anything and most of us have been there and understand what you're going thru......

I'm sorry you've been sick for so long.....I was sick for about 6-7 years too before I finally was tested and with a positive result knew I had Lyme......

I have a great LLMD and he guides me thru the process to try and get this disease under control....

Welcome aboard and keep us posted on how you're doing and lots of people can give great advice about the Lyme process....sometimes just knowing others are going thru and understanding what you're going thru makes all the difference in the world.........God bless you

dear ladyraven,
welcome...you are in the right place. i wrote a reply to you and then lost it somehow, so rather than rewrite it let me tell you that i was lost and undiagnosed for 18 years.

i found this site a few weeks ago and was referred to an LLMD , who i saw last week. he was awesome and explained every weird thing that is happening to me. i finally have hope again. see my post: Sleep cycle reversal/brain herxes on Nov 30th.

i hope you get the answers you are looking for.
pleaselet me know if you want more info.
warm regards

WELCOME To LYMENET

Here's more goodys! A typical response to newcomers.

Hi and WELCOME! Get a LLMD or at least Dr that is willing to learn about lyme. Borrelia Burgdorferi is a clinical diagnosis, based on symptoms and on your response to treatment. Good Luck, bumpy road ahead.

Post for a LLMD in Seeking a Doctor. Ps remember I am not a Dr, just a fellow sufferer.

Gotta love our wonderful TreePatrol..

Always on time with great information!

Thanks Tree!

Good morning LadyRaven... and abitconcerned ... and vandeb ... and... good morning to our good friend Robi.

I was wondering..

Is LadyRaven referring to the bird... or the football team in Baltimore?

There are many many angels here at Lyme Net. Each time someone responds to a post.. they give someone else some hope.

I LOVE to see so much sharing and caring.

LadyRaven..

You said..

"I thought i was loseing my mind but now i think maybe not."

Gues I better explain some stuff...

One of our unwritten rules around here is to not mention any reference to the fact that you MAY be:

1. Crazy

2. Nuts

3. Losing your mind

4. Stupid

5. One sandwich short of a picnic

6. One brick short of a load

7. One apple short of a bushel

8. Riding the horse down the trail while the tail flaps in your face

9. Thought they said trains... when they really said brains.. and you missed yours

10. And.... any other reference to "nobody being home upstairs"

If you break those rules..

Heaven help you!

YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH ME!

IF... I catch you!

hehehe

Now.. since you are new here.. I am gonna give you a "free" pass and let you off easy THIS time.

But the next time you try that....

I MIGHT be forced to say..

"HA! You THOUGHT you were losing your mind.. and you ARE!"

WELCOME TO LYME NET!

HO HO HO!

Happy Holidays!

Hey Paisley..

OOOPS!

Somehow this lame brain of mine missed YOUR name when saying good morning to everyone!

Soooooooooooo sorry!

I reckon my scroller is in high speed this morning..

Or...

I am still one flake short of being a cereal!

Hmmmmmm...

Maybe I will go have some breakfast?

That MIGHT help?

Good morning Paisley.

I hope you have a super-dupper day!

Hi ladyraven, sorry to hear you've joined the ranks of The Sick. Having been there for 48 years I empathize with you, but I intend to GET WELL! Abx are not the real solution to the problem- I've been down the med profession road too many times before I realized that it was the wrong direction.Find a doc who will help your body heal itself, not pump you full of drugs.Check out the info available on neurotoxins on the Web under Ritchie Shoemaker,M.D. [He's in Pocomoke,Maryland].Also, get the right nutrients in your body so it can fight the good fight-you'd be surprised at the difference that can make! Check out themakersdiet.com to find out how to eat right-it's helping me a lot; also the book about fats & oils by Udo Erasmus.Happy searching and Happy Holidays!

Sick and tired of being sick and tired right?

Just wanting it to end and thinking anyone who know what youve been dealing with is dead?

Because they killed themselves from the mental and physical pain.

I know,, Ive cried myself all dry one year.
Literally every single day I would cry and wished to die.

unbeknownst to me my depression was fueling the bacteria to grow and party. All the while I just suffered and couldnt think well.

I just had looped thoughts of despair, anger, and intense sadness.

Think yourself better!
