I have an office in my basement for clients to come for sessions. Separate entrance. I light candles especially when a client comes who smokes because their clothing reaks and I can't stand the smell.
I just went downstairs to get my morning meds out of the fridge and found a candle still lit from last night. Am I a danger to myself and my pooches?
I have never done that before ever.
This is scary.

Hi Marblenose,

I'm so glad your candle didn't start a fire!

Tree Patrol speaks well in encouraging you to write notes to yourself.

The "brain fog" and confusion is scary at times. I'm doing all kinds of stupid things.
I have no short term memory most of the time. I start off to do something and in the middle of it can't remember what I was going to do.

It makes me feel like a nut case especially when before I had an excellent memory and was able to recall many details.

I do want to be safe but I don't want to beat up on myself because the stress will make my condition worse.

This is the way it is for now! I'm grateful for this community and for the wonderful LLMD's that can lead us to the good people we still are underneath all the lyme!

This kind of thing can happen to perfectly healthy people who just are busy and get distracted.

My brain has been out to lunch for 2 1/2 years and I can no longer work and had to hand over most of my personal affairs to others to do.

In the case of something like candles or other dangerous items dont do it. Find a safer alternative and then you dont have to worry about it.

Candles made from a petroleum, most are, can give off potentential toxic chemicals to breath so you will be doing yourself a favor anyway. There are some non toxic lemon sprays that work well for eliminating that kind of odor and they are non toxic.

Beeswax or soy candles are safe to breath.

I use to use them in my business for the same thing.

Ps: I burned up more tea pots when I was clean and healtyh. I would put on water for tea, go down stairs to my pottery studio, and then completely forget about it. Once my fingers touched clay I would forget everything else for hours.

Havnt burned up 1 tea pot since being disabled, course the studio is gone.

When I got one of my tic bites which set of my lyme, I was doing a burn in the forest a sort way from the house. Went to the house and forgot to watch the fire when the phone rang. Looked out the window from my office to see the fire getting out of control. Needless to say, I freaked out and ran down to put it out with a bucket of water and shovel.

Sorry,

I had to laugh.
After 4 hurricanes and 12 days, over and over again, of no electricity and lyme. I have very nice speakers with candle wax all down the front of them, wax all over my floor (piles), carpet, coffee tables etc. Thank god I did not burn my house down. Lyme plus hurricane is not a good mix. Flashlights got turned off go figure.
The only salvation was I slept through most of it. Funny how things work out.

Ive been a fan of piracetam for years now.
Of course now it interferes with my sleep.

But when I was on the maximum dosages I was being called a genius by my colledge profressors. They werent joking around either.

Please tell me more about piracetam. I dont want to be a genius but would be happy to just be able to read a book and be able to handle my personal finances again.

The stupids are the worst part of this whole thing. I open the fridge and look at the food and have no idea how to translate it into something to eat.

"PIRACETAM INTERFERS WITH MY SLEEP NOW." Getting a decent night sleep is one of my major goals now so dont want to do anything to interfer with that quest but I desperately want to be able to function mentally just a little bit better.

Can you give me some hints about how you take or took it and what you think about taking it only early in the day etc. Any insight about taking it so it wont interfer with sleep would be greatly appreciated.

I never heard of it before but my attention was sure caught by your post. Talk to me, please
