Hi Lymers,

I wanted to ask if anyone has used Sporanox before?? I tested positive for Candida.

I was put on 100mg a day for 2 months.
(The box says 4/day for 7 days then skip three weeks. Then start again.)

What antifungal are you on and whats your dosage???

I took Sporanox for eight months for a fungal infection (not candida) in my lungs and sinuses. I took 200 mg a day for the first two months, then went down to 50 mg for the remaining time.

I didn't take any breaks. I did get regular liver function tests, maybe every couple of months.

When I started, I had very severe die off for several weeks. very achey, fluish, my temperature was elevated. After that I had no problems with it.
