I would like to use a bit of the vast amount of knowledge that many of you have.

On mino and fluconazole, both my liver enzymes and my kidney function are a bit out of spec.

Apart from the milk thistle for the liver and drinking lots of mineral water, what can be done while taking abx and while off abx to help the liver and / or the kidneys?

Many thanks in advance

Adios!

Anything that helps with detox can help to take the load off of your liver. Here are some detox tools.

1)Chlorella. This supplies nutrients and also binds toxins in the gut to pull them out so that they are not reabsorbed.

2) Steam or FIR saunas. Helps to eliminate toxins through the skin so that the liver doesn't have to deal with them.

3) Glutathione IV pushes once or twice a week. Glutathione is a major part of detox for your liver. Most lymies and chronically sick people are low in this.

4) Coffee enemas. These are suppose to help with detoxing the liver

I take Dr. Zhang's Hepa Formula 2. It has stabilized my liver enzymes for over a year. I think the main ingredient is schizandra.

N-acetyl choline (NAC), a supplement you can get in vitamin stores, can also help.
