Anyway, my chest has felt tight and congested since all this began....then realized i was wheezing too.
SOOOOO...back to the dr....He said I have asthma! %$#@! I just hope it goes away once we get the inflammation down!
I do have GOOD NEWS though! The tick I sent to be tested was NEGATIVE!
YIPPPPEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!
I was really worried since my "flu" began 8 days after the tick bite!!!!!!

I hope the asthma goes away--do you have a lot of air pollution?
Take it easy so you can heal!

Nope....live in a tiny town....but we do have THOUSANDS of cars here since it's a tourist town. But I'd still say the pollution is minimal.
Thanks for your reminder to rest! I tend not to do that!

I used to have asthma but it never bothers me now so maybe when the infection is completely gone it will be too.
Did you get your rife machine up and running? Use that machine to attack things like strep and staph (examples) that could of settled in your lungs from that tick bite.
Does your rife have pre-programmed freqs? Or can you program it for different freqs? Just some thoughts from my experience.
Take care, Pam
I have had some success running Mycoplasma frequencies for lung congestion and shortness of breath. I believe I found the numbers in the CAFL. I did also use the strep/staph frequencies at times.

Dang! I never even thought about that! YUCKO! UGH!!
Don't have the rife yet....should be here shortly....Like maybe in less than 2 wks. Can't be soon enough!

Think about it .
Glad your Rife is coming in a couple weeks.
So, so glad your tick tested negative. Greatest news ever.
We'll just hope this asthma thing is temporary. You've done so well being off abx that your immune system is so strong now and will work toward ridding it.
This too shall pass.

Yeah, I know. I was really worried....but I know others who got this "flu" in recent weeks....Like Lifeline and her hubby!
I'll think about the transfer factor...it's pretty pricey.

This flu thing is finally subsiding with me, although, Don still has that horrible cough. He feels good, however, just that cough...no fever, no congestion anymore.
Actually, alot of people we know have had it, so we're being really careful. I didn't have the flu shot. Even touching a grocery cart, I use a wet wipe...can't be too cautious.
Did you know, at HyVee, they have a wetwipe section right by the grocery carts just for that purpose. Cool!

But I will say, I've definitely thought about it and thought we must surely pick up alot of germs there. UGH!
Glad you are both doing better.

Hey, if it stays, maybe get on Ketek. It's supposed to clear out those respiratory infections! It actually gave me a bit of an respiratory herx the first few weeks.
My husband and I both notice how clear our lungs are and how deeply we breath now. (We also feel marginally better re LD sx when taking it -- don't know if it's enough to keep us on it when we're done with this batch, but I do have more energy and less headache immediately after using it).
I've never heard of it for asthma, but maybe it's worth discussing it with the doc? The hubby also started it while he had the flu with a cough, and he feels that it kept him from being much less congested than he usually gets -- he's pretty vulnerable to respiratory infections.

So glad the tick was negative...yeah!
There were 5 children in my daughters class last week out with the flu so I know it's going around.
Hope your feeling better soon!
What did the doc give you for asthma?
