Hi, I'm hoping that someone, anyone has some insight on these two subjects. I have been treated for lyme and my new Dr. says that my lyme Dr. went overboard when treating me and that there is no way that I could possibly still have it. With that said I have been extremely fatigued and I have been getting bullseye rashes 6 to 10 at a time. these have been coming and going for over 20 years and seem to be picking up speed and coming more often and in larger numbers as well as growing in size. I just had a negative test done with a doctor at Kaiser and they will not do anything else without a positive test even with pictures of the rash and seeing it first hand. has anyone else had their bullseye rash come and go over periods of time? Mine are always extremely itchy and always come back in the same areas. Can anyting be found if they do a biopsy and what would they look for? I also had a question for anyone that gets chills for no apparent reason. Just out of the blue I will get goosebumps and the chills even when in bed at night it will wake me up. This is something new for me. Any in put is appreciated. Thanks

I had 2 or 3 negative tests with Kaiser years ago. I took their word for it. Big mistake, delayed my diagnosis for over 10 years. Have had multiple EM's twice, years ago. Chills for years, probably in part due to Babesia infection (along with Lyme).

Please read Dr Burrascano's 'Diagnostic Hints and Treatment Guidelines', which you can find in the Articles and Presentations section of www.ilads.org - AND find yourself a Lyme literate MD asap.

I dont know but i think if you are still getting bullseye rashes you are still positive for lyme! Where do they think these rashes are comming from anyway?!? I got bitten 5 times and have been having all sorts of itchy rashe's for 2 years now and I FINALLY got to a good LLMD and he said it is from lyme.
good luck and see an llmd now!

I have a question......could someone mistake these itchy rashes for hives???

I just spoke to a friend whose daughter has been having itchy rashes on her body that come and go over the year and they are trying to figure out what she is allergic to.

Her hand even swelled up....so because of that does this sound more like an allergy?????

Always photographs the rashes with a ruler in the pic so you have proof.

Sounds like you need a doctor better informed on Lyme.

A bulls eye rash is considered diagnostic of Lyme.

What was your treatment, exactly.

Go to support groups on the left and find one nearest you, contact them and ask for a doctor referral.
