The only experience I have had with this was before my daughter's diagnosis when we tried homeopathic medicine.

Her chiro had us eliminate as much sugar, yeast containing foods, starches and hydrogenated oils from her diet (all lymies should avoid hydrogenated oil in my opinion, because it causes inflammation!).

She also put her on lactobacillus sporogenes (good bacteria). My daughter's waist went down majorly.

She went from bloated to trim and lost a couple of pounds.

The gut being out of balance(yeast overgrowth) can cause pain and many other symptoms.

My daughter has also had pain in her ab. We think it is maybe bladder spasms sometimes.

Have you considered maybe you have an ovarian cyst? I have had one myself (I don't have lyme). They are very PAINFUL!

Mine did cause the type of pain you describe.

Anyway this is only my opinion. I would check these out with your LLD. I hope something here helps.

Hope you feel better soon!

Hi Amyb
Candida can make you blow up like a ballon .
It did me for a long time.I felt like
some body punched me in the stomic-
all night long.Pants would not fit.
Do you have lots of gas? Is your tonge
white. Do you itch?
I had candida super bad.
If candida is what you have-- to get
over it you have to do the no carb diet.
No abx will kill this stuff if you dont
quit eating carbs--this is a must.
Nystatin powder worked the best for me-
I could feel it start working-in hours-
Made me herx for many days-but was
worth it. Nystatin powder is a little
hard to get- usually must be ordered.
Has to be refidgerated--even a hour
of being warm will ruin it- for sure-
Nystatin pills dont work very well
but are good for when you are not
at home. Threw the years I have gotten
90% better. I have many posts about
candida- do a search on me.
Also do a clense and take probiotics-
--If it is candida--you can beat it-
Good luck to you--Jay--

The great smokies test is an excellent idea. I suspected I was having yeast issues and leaky gut. Had the test done -- yup, leaky gut, but NO on the yeast. Instead, it was a BACTERIA that needed treatment with antibiotics (and there was also one good bacteria missing). Get tested so you know what needs treatment - don't assume!

hi start by eliminating all sugar and wheat from the diet . this means no bread , pasta most cereals . no no no processed foods, most contain wheat or sugar in one form or another
brown rice is okay as is quinoa or millet and some can tolerate oatmeal but others not

As far as pain in the side goes, it could be yeast related but it also could be an ovarian cyst
Ive done testing at smokey labs before and they tell you exactly what yeast and what best med to target it

I think the pain you have sound live the ovarian cysts I ahd. That was my first thought reading your post, and apparently many others too.

As to the bloating, my 15 year-old had had this problem for a year. Nothing fits her. She is doing month of fluconazole, adter a GI doctor did an endoscopy and found extensive yeast.

She has been diagnosed with "leaky gut" byt Great Smokies Lab. The chiropractor/nutritionist in our area checks for this at Great Smokies Lab, but it is not cheap. We found a doctor n Cambridge Mass, who is an expert on food allergies, yeast, leaky gut etc. Since we were referre to him by our PCP, all tests are covered. He also did metabolic analysis and stool analysis.

L_Glutamine and various herbs are easily available at any natural medicine store, and help to heal your gut lining too.

Good luck!
