Hi All,
First, I am glad/sad that there are othere of you who are nite owls, not by choice.

{lease feel free to email me anytime you all are up late.}

I have a guestion.
At age 15 I woke one morning with my left foot and ankle a giant Hive. The hive moved thru-out my body.

I had giant hives inside and out, yes in the mouth, throat, tongue etc. I missed 6 months of school. It kinda looked like elephantitus.
I lived on Benadryl and atarax.

These hives in the last 20 yrs only come when there is severe pressure/irritaion to the skin. Very mild now and Atarx stops it.

I am now 56. I was diagnosed 2 yrs ago with Lyme. My symptoms are skin burning/twitching/eye blurriness, etc.

Well, you all know the question. COuld the hives at age 15 been Lyme?

remember tho. I am in IL where we have no LYME-DUH. I spent alot of time with horses.

Thank YOU
Peace,
BJG

Funny (not so funny) The more I read on this site, the more symptoms I have.

I had the giant hives just before I got married at 19. I was a nervous wreck and that's what probably brought them out.

I thing I've had lyme since I was a kid, also.

Yes, it's very well possible it's connected to lyme. The past several years I've been getting hives, nothing prior, but probably more recently due to higher stress levels. Nothing major, just very irritating.

Hi Tincup,

Thank you for posting and getting responses.

I really don't want to start beleiving that EVERYTHING we have is from Lyme, but wierd, not explainable stuff fits Lyme.

thanks everyone.
