I took 400mg doxy w/o a herx or improvement. I have also taken 1500mg amox before w/o a problem, but this time a few days into it I have been feeling awful. Achy, exhausted, out of it..etc. Could it be a herx this time but not before when I took it.? It is a low dose and I am supposed to make it up to 4000mg a day. Just wondered if any of you herxed on low dose amox...I figured I would on doxy, but didn't.

I also felt this way when I took Bactrim.

Whenever I start new meds or have them up I get that way. Very fatigued, achey and weepy.
