The most prominent ICHT situation was that a patient would pay $20,000 to go to Italy to be injected with ??? that would give him a fever and make him super sick. The fever etc killed the spirochete and the patient got better. Some got better. One died. And most were inbetween. Some swear by it. Some think it's the stupidest thing on the planet. Desperate people do desperate things.
