Jake took his 1st dose last night - 1 teaspoon.

Has anyone else tried Detox Max Plus? What was your experience?

I know that Dr. C. recommends this to his patients, (of which I am not yet...but will probably be soon), any Dr. C. patients out there on Detox Max Plus?

It's great stuff - from our experience. Dr. K. has been using it for several years. Many patients test positive (ART) for it. That means they can handle it well. Some can't - but that is the case with almost any remedy - . My husband used it successfully, though we never use the same agent for a long time. We always alternated with other agents.

Hope it works for your son.

GiGi,

Did your husband have any herxing or other reaction from Detox Max Plus?

Thanks!

(Jake is a patient of Dr. C.)

I have used it a couple of times. Frankly, I couldn't tell that I had taken anything. I would be interested to hear from others that have used it.

Anytime you use a metal detox agent, there is a reaction. That's just the nature of it. However, if the timing/sequencing of the metal detox is right and if the patient is compatible with the detox agent, one will feel it, but it is not a herx that makes you cringe. You will know that things are being "mobilized". And as Dr. K. always says - "the only way out, is the way through".
However, children do easier with all of that.
It depends if the brain is involved. Doctors that do not do energy testing or ART testing cannot determine that. ART reveals it in a minute.

We always had the benefit of ART testing before any treatment - for the timing of the treatment and for the agent to be used. If ART testing revealed that for instance a co-infection or parasites are the body's major burden at this time, of course you do not work on the metals. The body reveals what it can handle. If it cannot handle the detox agent, the body will
tell right away.

Successful heavy metal detoxing takes expertise. It is tricky and I am not certain that Dr. C. has that background. That you will have to judge yourself.

Take care.

Even though this is an old thread, I wanted to revive it.

I was just given DetoxMax Plus to take to address neurotoxicity. It was determined by my LLMD that after a year and a half of abx and other treatments that I still had many symptoms of neurotoxicity.

Even though he doesn't do muscle testing or ART, I believe he has the clinical experience to make an intelligent decision on when someone may benefit from a detox program.

I have only taken one dose and don't have any progress to report at this time but would love to hear any responses or experiences from anyone else.

Thanks.

I am just finishing a round of Detox Max Plus recommended by Dr. C. I will be taking another heavy metals test soon. My first test showed that I was toxic with six different heavy metals.

I am excited to see the results of my new test. It seems to me that doing the Detox Max Plus has helped me to feel better. My Dad, who has a hard time believing in heavy metals, began believing in them when he saw how Detox Max affected me so positively.

Let me know if you want more details about my protocol, etc.

Detox Max Plus is a detoxing agent that gets rid of heavy metals in a person's body. I take it once or twice a week, 1/2 bottle each time.

so if you dont have a problem with metals, then just using to help rid the body of the toxins released from a herx wouldnt be a reason to take this? is it only for metal detoxing?

Here is a bit more detail on Detox Max Plus, also called Phosopholipid Exchange.

It is a concentrate - a combination of microsphere encapsultated DiSodium EDTA and essential phosopholipids.

Taken orally, it enhances the transport of phospholipids through the intestinal wall barrier, blood cells and the blood/brain barrier. This process successfully eliminates the possibility of diarrhea symptoms. There is a slow release of EDTA systematically over 48 hours greatly decreasing the possibility of kidney overload with heavy metal toxicity. Phospholipid Exchange produces "true" plasma soluble ion exchange properties thereby minimizing beneficial mineral excretion.

EDTA has been mostly used to detoxify the body of heavy metals and is commonly known and used for clearing the cardiovascular system. Until not too many years ago, EDTA required intravenous infusions for as long as three hours, several times a week.

Clinical studies on essential phospholipids (EPL) prove numerous health benefits. Taken intravenously has shown multiple cardiovascular benefits with over 100 human clinical trials in Europe and USA, with the following results:

Lowers mean total serum cholesterol between 12% and 25%
Decreases LDL by 34%
Increases HDL by 50-100%
Substantially lowers the cardiovascular risk ratio
Increases peripheral and brain circulation
Decreases reactive platelet aggregation by 60% in patients with angina pectoris.
Increases fluidity of red blood cell membranes
Decreases angina and helps eliminate chest pain attacks
Increases exercise tolerance by 900% with angina prone patients.

Detox Max Plus/Phospholipid Exchange detoxifies heavy metals, hydrocarbons, and environmental toxins and substantially enhances cardiovasculatory health.

If it tested positive with energetic testing (ART), we used to take it - about one third of the vial mixed with juice, water or milk, about 3 times a week - always taking breaks somewhere in between after after a week or two.

Take care.

I heard a dr say it was more effective than IV chelation.

A little googling makes me leery of Detox Max Plus. It is 76% lecithin and 500mg EDTA, plus a smidgen of lipoic acid.

Oral EDTA is very poorly absorbed and can cause nutritional deficiencies. See this doc's rebuke of oral EDTA: http://www.chelationtherapyonline.com/articles/p55.htm

I believe that Detox Max Plus has a liposomal delivery system. Unclear whether that is enough to truly overcome EDTA's very poor oral absorption.

Please note that Detox Max Plus or Phospholipid Exchange, which is identical, contains Disodium EDTA -- not Calcium EDTA which is used in some heavy metal mobilizers (Detoxamin suppositories, etc., Ca EDTA in capsule, etc).

Dr. K. has used this product for about 5 years. In 2004 Sir Arnold Takemoto, one or the only brainchild? of Detox Max was a speaker at a Klinghardt Seminar I attended. Dr. K. calls the product "a revolution in his practice". It works for the right people if done at the right time -- JUST LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE THAT IS USED BY PEOPLE trying to get better. Thank God, we all have a different body and therefore react differently to different drugs and products.

We have used Detox Max and I have known it to be used by more people that I can count. It has done some remarkable things for some people.

Here is some more of what I have buried in my files. Maybe you can find some more updated info online.

THE UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS OF DETOXMAXTM CONCENTRATE

A combination of a proprietory blend of essential phospholipid (EPL) and EDTA, is taken orally in an exclusive micro-encapsulation process with microspheres and transports the product through absorption, and delivers numerous cardiovascular and circulatory benefits. This unique EPL microsphere encapsulation prevents mobilization of heavy metals into the brain.

THE ESSENTIAL PHOSPHOLIPID (EPL) MICROSPHERE EDTA SYSTEM

It supplies microsphere encapsulated droplets of disodium EDTA in an essential phospholipid (EPL) delivery system with no diarrhea symptoms and extremely high gastrointestinal assimilation to circulating bloodstream.

There is a slow release of EDTA systematically over a 48 hour + time duration, greatly decreasing the possibility of overloading kidneys with heavy metal toxicity-

It produces "True" plasma soluble ion exchange properties; thereby minimizing beneficial mineral excretion via a unique delivery system.

DETOXMAXTM PILOT STUDY

Conducted by Daniel Dugi MD and Sir Arnold Takemoto. The purpose of this study was to prove the safety and effectiveness of using disodium EDTA orally in an essential phospholipid (EPL) microsphere delivery system effectively bringing the intestinal barrier for systematic heavy metal detoxification. This pilot study was performed in 2001 with 16 patients.

THE SIGNIFICANT EFFECTS OF USING DETOXMAX PLUSTM ARE:

Helps lower the following conditions:

Cholesterol

Triglycerides

LDL ("Bad cholesterol") .LP(a)

Toxic heavy metals in body and brain

Thickness of blood, makes blood more fluid

Helps increase the following conditions:

HDL ("Good cholesterol") .

Brain circulation

Heart circulation

Peripheral circulation

Helps repair the following conditions:

Damaged liver

Damaged coronary arteries

Damaged blood vessels: arteries, veins, capillaries

Damaged brain circulation

Injured tendons, ligaments and cartilage

DETOXMAX PLUSTM is the only product available in the world that incorporates two beneficial cardiovascular substances in a unique microsphere encapsulation delivery system taken orally, which not only reduces significant side effects, but can benefit those patients with the following conditions: Cardiovascular disease, Parkinson, Cancer (all types), Diabetes,.Hepatitis C, Diabetic Neuropathy, Auto immune diseases, Autism, ALS, ADD, MS, ADHD, Alzheimers, ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder), Dementia

To me - it tastes like the good old fashioned egg liquor/cognac - even without the juice!

Just don't overdo. The turtle wins the race. If you look long enough - you will find someone who understands metal detox. It's not a rare thing any longer, because most people have a problem with these environmental toxins. People have become aware! and are paying attention.

Lymetoo, The chelation EDTA IV of years ago! does not or did not contain the phospholipids ------ liver clearance is important. It also is not effective in removing mercury. It also makes it more difficult to remove the mercury afterward with different methods. We have learned a few things, thank God.

Can you take this if you still have mercury fillings?

Can you take this without the juice? Sounds yucky, but I dont' drink cranberry or orange juice.

Posted by GiGi (Member # 259) on :

Snowboarder, it doesn't make sense
trying to detox while the source of the toxin, the amalgam fillings, is still present. They are releasing the mercury, etc. 24/7, no matter how old they are. The first rule in toxicology is to remove the source of toxicity. Then there is a chance of success. That's exactly what Dr. K. advises prospective patients.

Lymetoo, as detailed in my post above, Detox Max/Phospholipid Exchange can be taken with juice, water, milk or whatever. You can even take it without anything else.

Take care.

GiGi that was my thought exactly. I wondered if anyone was on this that still had there fillings.

I have 1 amalgam left which will be removed in 1 month and all fillings will be gone. At that time I'd planned on going after heavy metals.

Hello,

First, let me say that you GiGi must have covered it all, educating us on Detox Max Plus. Thank you so much for your input. Some people are not told about toxins. Therefore they don't know why they feel worse after treatment, or what to do.

By the time I got the right diagnosis, I didn't have much money. I used charcoal, olive oil, honey and vinegar for the first six months. The day I used Detox Max Plus I knew everything could be alright again.

I started feeling better in about thirty minutes. I had only been told about it by Dr.C as an alternative detox method. I am so glad that I decided to give it a try.

I highly recommend it. I don't know if it interferes with other meds. so Hiker you might ask your LLMD about that.

I don't know if you all reacted like me or not, but I think it was the toxins making me so sick. After addressing them I started to feel less pain for the first time in about a year.

I also stopped throwing up and eventually regained my appetite.

I hope you all find the information you need to get well.

[Smile]

Sounds like a great product! I still have some fillings, though. I'll have to wait until some future time when I can get them removed.

I've also read about this lipid replacement from Dr. Garth Nicholson.
http://www.ntfactor.com/Research/lrt_jana_2003.html

I'm not sure what the difference is between NT Factor/anti-oxidents & chelation(?) Maybe if I read the article by Dr. Nicholson I'd understand it better but my brain is a bit foggy today.

I don't know if there is a difference btw. Lipid replacement therapy & Lipid Exchange re: Detox Max.
