Yep! Absolutely.I've been on a low carb, sugar free, additive free diet for a couple of years now, except for occasional slips. I mostly have figured out how to make treats that fit in the diet, and keep me happy.

I feel like it makes a big difference, cause I can tell what happens when I do slip. Not good! But I do think people are different in their needs and tolerance, so you have to find what is the right diet for you.

Daughter is on carb free sugar free diet, she has had a yeast problem most of her life, even before dx with Lyme.

Since being treated she can't tolerate much at all, she lives on Juice Plus shakes, boiled soy beans and Tofu cooked in Olive oil along with the many other

Tolerated suppliments she takes daily. At one point I took all suppliments away and added them one by one once a week to see if she was reacting to any of them.

I think her tummy problems stem from Lyme, yeast and treatment. Hoping something works soon. She is in constant pain.

Hope this helped in some way.

I do low carb, home cooked whole food meals that include lots of soups (purees) for easy digestion.

Proper food combining will enhance detox. Also I make sure I'm having regular bowel movements daily (2-3 goal). So high fiber is important as is drinking lots of good water.
