I developed a whole bunch of protuding disks in my neck after I got sick. No car accidents or the such could have caused it.

Anyone else notice the connection?

This is subjective but my LLMD said it's hard to link this to Lyme. He did say that bb could irritate spinal nerve roots and cause pain. An ortho told me that many people have bulging discs and are asymptomatic. DDD can exacerbate this as well as we age.

Bb causes us to set off certain classes of our own enzymes that in turn cleave one or more types of our connective tissues. Matrix metalloproteinases(MMP); e.g. MMP9 for one.
