Hi people,

I know there are some of you who have suffered w/ burning skin senations full time. I have gotten it here and there, not constant.

But lately it seems to be more and more. Parts of my face, arms. I think it's the bactrim.

???? [confused] ???

So change bactrim into something else just to see.

Burning skin was a bartonella symptom for me.

Burning skin was one of my worst symptoms. Feet, legs, arms, face, neck. Has improved some but still have it now and then.

I got burning skin from steroids. Made the Lyme and Babs go nuts.

It did improve with treatment.

Maybe the bactrim is killing the bart. [Eek!] Which I suspect I have. [loco]

Yes the burning is becoming constant on my arms.

Die keets die!!!!!!!!! [Mad]

Has increased burning been associated with treatment? I changed ABX to Levaquin two days ago and my burning is really more notable. Thanks

yes it is increasing with treatment for me.

I have terrible burning skin pain as well-mostly comes and goes but its all over the body. It could be a herx for you but it wouldn't hurt to run it by your LLMD and just make sure. The one thing that has helped me the most for the burning pain are b-12 shots. Id be lost without it.

Well, maybe that is a good sign for me then as well. Since starting the Levaquin, my sensations which have been quite good for a couple of months have become notably worse in just 3 days... Hang in there!

I had burning increase on my skin when I first started treatment on oral Biaxin. My LLMD didn't know what to make of it.
