"Chemotaxis in Borrelia burgdorferi."
"B. burgdorferi tried to avoid hydrogen peroxide, a chemical released by neutrophils and macrophages to kill bacteria. This could serve as a protective mechanism for B. burgdorferi in its interaction with the immune system. It is also interesting that motility (ability to "swim") of B. burgdorferi requires a high concentration of NaCl (Sodium Chloride) and pH 7.6, which are the normal physiological conditions for interstitial fluids."

Hmmmmm? Anybody?

After reading the article it does seem to blow the theory that making the body more alkaline is helpful to kill lyme. The article does seem to indicate that KCl and Magnesium are helpful to reduce lyme motility.

I wonder what its ramifications are for the vitamin C/salt protocol?

Interesting. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Hiker
