My daughter has had worsening equilibrium (leaning to one side) Is on waiting list for picc from Dr. J Charlotte. 3wks I think.
Last eve had closing throat feeling and asked not(refused) to take dinner meds.
Got some of them down with bedtime meds.
Started borage oil and fish oil last 2 days in an attempt to do something for her as her stomach is a little better. Discontinued these in case allergic reaction. She has not previously taken the borage oil.
My gut is that the swallowing problem is nuerological problem. On low dose of mino...
I called today and left message nuero symptoms worsening and where are we on the list for picc.
I am on the phone with this clinic every day to the pt of embarrassment. Same with the schools right now. We have an appt. for the 3 of us Oct. 20. Should I get pushy now about getting help for Amanda's nuero descent?
These symptoms are not new but include weak tingling hands. I am doing things for her as I can't stand to watch her flounder.
What would you do?

If it were my child, I'd get pushy. You know what they say "the squeaky wheel gets the grease"

I am so sorry you and your daughter are going through this.
If she's having problems swallowing, I would definitely get pushy. Maybe they would be able to bump your daughter up on the list, or do something else for her so that she doesn't have to deal with this the whole time she's waiting.
Have they called back? If not keep calling, maybe they have an answering service? I know I have a better time faxing my LLMD, as phone messages are hardly ever returned. I hope you get some answers soon.. take care,
