Does anyone know if it's best to buy time-released DHEA?

I've had DHEA5 as a compounded script before, but will now be buying it OTC, but there are so many brands and some are time-released.

Would appreciate any info if you've had experience on which works best.

Also, is it okay to cut a 10 in half as it would save money?
