My husband takes Lipitor, Prilosec, Zithromax and Mepron.

His schedule is limited. He gets up at 5am to eat breakfast. Doesn't usually eat lunch. Comes home starving.

Does any one know if he [confused] can take the lipitor, prilosec and mepron in the morning all together? [confused]

In the evening he takes mepron and zith with dinner. Before bed takes acidphillis pills.

Heather,

When I was on levaquin for nine weeks I had to take it a half hour after taking levaquin. Don't know if that helps.

See if he can take the Prilosec right away when he first gets up and wait 20 minutes before eating. Either that or take it without food at bedtime. You are not supposed to take it with food, it works better before meals.
Hope that tidbit helps [Smile]

I take prilosec and was told to take it at least a half hour before eating anything. Its not a good idea to take it with food cuz it doesn't absorb very well. I took mepron and zith for a while and yes, they told me I could take those at the same time as the prilosec.
